Our school has a well stocked library, staffed adequately to keep the library in good order and to guide the students during their library periods to make best use of the library and the books. The stock is constantly expanded to provide meaningful reference materials.

As the introduction of computers became an integral part of education, to facilitate the students, the school has provided computer labs with multimedia and internet facilities. It has been introduced as one of the optional subjects in Std. XII and Std.XII.

The school has well equipped laboratories in different subjects like physics, chemistry, HPER, Mathematics, Biology and computer science which is maintained by the trained Lab staff under the supervision of the subject teacher.

The school playground provides a safe outdoors environment within the school that stimulates children to use their creative energy in healthy interactions with one another. Children learn through play and gain incredible benefits on the playground that last a lifetime.

The School conducts an assembly by congregating staff and students before the beginning of the classes everyday besides prayer, patriotic songs, pledge, thought of the day, news, quiz and special events are performed.

An annual excursion is organized for students for every academic session. Further, the school organizes planned visits to various places to enrich the students and to take learning beyond the four walls of the classroom.

GIS provides safe and reliable bus transportation to students who wish to avail this facility. The school has a luxury fleet of buses with the best of safety arrangements available for the neighbouring areas.

OurFrom Std. VI to IX Scout and Guide are optional for boys and girls which will give the students a complete man in all respect and getting wattage during their admission into colleges.

GIS uses interactive whiteboards for classroom teaching and involves students to learn with technology.Smart class is an innovative concept in education, forming the base of education delivery at GIS.
